Double image
We will be working with two images developed from personal abstract designs, to create a concertina'd structure. This piece of work or series of works will be carried out initially in bonded appliqué, but further techniques and skills will be discussed and used as appropriate. Referencing and researching the work of other artists will be used as a tool for furthering personal development. Very exciting effects can be created, which would lend themselves to patchworkers and quilters.

3D Effects for Textiles
This course has been especially designed to help us look at ways in which we can use drawing and designing to push ideas in a challenging way to create both two and three dimensional effects. Work will primarily be carried out in paper but with plenty of discussion as to how these ideas can be moved into textiles. Ideas will quickly progress by working through a series of exercises. Definitely a course for the adventurous mind.
