The Wey In

The continual flow of a line, the movement of water, the reflections and shadows all contribute to the inspiration of this piece. Hand dyed natural scoured cotton, pieced applied bonded designs, additional colour and three-dimensional effects added with Litho coal, heavily machine quilted, with Armo fleece wadding. Bound edges. Made for the Quilters Guild Challenge 25 for 25, 2004.
