JENNIFER COLLIER
'Story Book Garments'
27th and 28th March 2017

Well what a fabulous two days that turned out to be. The students were enthralled and produced such brilliant work.
We will be getting Jennifer back next year, so a course not to be missed.  Students began by being shown many ideas and testing these out. Here are the results.

In day 2 they had to use the ideas sampled into a finished product and here the students excelled.

Here are some of the gloves and foot wear produced.

.........and look at these beautiful dresses.

So you can see what a great course it was.

AMANDA CLAYTON
'Quietly Composed' Amanda Clayton
1st and 2nd April 2017

Amanda is arriving tomorrow to teach her two day weekend course here.................. I am very excited.

For any latecomer I have one space left on this course so do get to me today if this is of interest to you.

She will be teaching a two day course called ' Quietly Composed' which is aimed at those artists; embroiderers in particular, who wish to explore observational starting points and develop ideas through cloth and stitch.

This course is not about producing one piece of work but reinforcing a work process that you will revisit constantly afterwards.
