I am so sorry, as I have got a little behind with newsletters and seem to be chasing my tail somewhat. Two very different tutors have been teaching at Moor Hall in very recent weeks and I feel each deserves a separate newsletter. So first up is DAVID TRESS.......and I am sure that you will agree that it will have been worth waiting for.
Well what amazing 3 days we had with David. As well as being such a renowned landscape artist, he is also a brilliant teacher. Here are a couple of comments from students.

Students were encouraged to draw directly from the glorious landscape and work up thumbnail paintings back in the studio
These next few paintings were blocking in areas and the beginnings of collage.
Students soon progressed these works as well as completing a few others.
I hope you have enjoyed seeing these images. I know that all students got so much from the course.
