This award was introduced last year with great success and now they need to build on this success. So with just over two weeks to go, you need to get cracking.

DEADLINE FOR

The Vlieseline Fine Art Textiles Award (FATA)

Wednesday 3rd June

The Vlieseline Fine Art Textiles Award (FATA) is an international juried exhibition open to all amateur and practising artists using textiles as their medium. The Award recognises the creative talents and skills of a range of high-calibre artists and celebrates textiles' rightful place amongst high art.
The deadline has been extended to Wednesday 3rd June, allowing more time to enter into this prestigious award, which offers a first prize of £5,000 sponsored by Vlieseline and a runner up prize of £500 thanks to Her Quiet Materials.

The judging panel for 2020 is now confirmed as:
  • Rosy Greenlees, Exec Director of the Crafts Council
  • Richard McVetis, Artist
