'GOING WILD IN BISHOPS CASTLE ~ Moor art 1

This term Moor Art students will be connecting with the theme 'Going Wild in Bishop's Castle' with the opportununity to have work displayed there in January 2027. Students have already been briefed and should be gathering photographic imagery for the first session back. This is an exciting theme to engage their creativity which will be explored through a number of new avenues of drawing and design.

My roots lie in theatre costumes and tailoring and later as a secondary school teacher. Since 1984, I have worked as a free-lance artist teaching textiles and art, to all ages and levels up to BA degree students. My own work as a teacher holds as much relevance as my work as an artist, both go hand in hand. I enjoy teaching and challenging my on-going art groups and welcome in new students from time to time as spaces become available.
