An exciting and playful project that explores the idea of continuity and change through drawing, collage and stitch.
Working from collections of personal objects as a starting point, we will be looking at ways in which to explore and play with visual imagery. By working with line, shape, pattern and colour, through a range of different materials and techniques, both textile and non textile, we will look at the ways in which visual material might evolve and develop as it moves it’s way across and down a three metre length of cloth.
Matthew is masterley in getting the absolute best out of his students. This exciting course will be no exception.
