Discovering Landscapes in Water-colour
Course Description
in this one-day workshop Ruth will investigate first of all ways of using watercolour to depict landscape, simply but effectively. Then she will go on to explore some interesting techniques to build on these initial stages.
She likes to demonstrate the techniques herself, then provide support whilst participants explore the methods themselves. Bring along any photographs of landscapes that you would like to use as source material.
Suitable for beginners and intermediate.

Having won Gold and Silver RHS medals for Botanical Illustration, Ruth Kirkby is very familiar with the rules of watercolour painting.
